Our professional services team can provide an end-to-end website project from discovery through to design, migration, build, testing and deployment, or just offer their skills in the areas you need.
Discovery lays the foundation for each project. We establish your requirements at a kickoff meeting before breaking ground for a successful project by holding user experience workshops, wireframing, and planning the information architecture.
Content strategy is crucial for long-term website success. We'll work with your team to make your prose easy to read, consistent, and current. Together, we’ll review existing content, create guidelines, and put procedures in place for clear governance.
The web has changed. People are now more likely to view your website on a mobile device than their desktop – it’s why we take a mobile-first approach to responsive design. That applies to everything from UX and content design to typography and illustration.
It’s important that your website is easy for your editors to use. We’ll turn your designs into templates that even users with little technical experience will get to grips with. Razor views allow us to create custom controls that your team can easily configure.
Thorough testing and debugging are essential parts of the development process. We have a dedicated device lab for conducting tests on all popular mobile devices and browsers. We also carry out tests to ensure accessibility and HTML compliance.
We’re keen that your team become self-sufficient and expert users of Contensis. As well as extensive online documentation we provide training courses, either online or in person, with our experienced team. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet other Contensis users at our annual user groups and client conference, Rocket.
Solid project management ensures that work stays on schedule and within budget. A project lead, a senior member of our professional services team, will oversee the implementation of your project. You’ll also have a dedicated project manager who will provide you with regular progress reports.
We start each project with discovery – gathering requirements and making sure we understand exactly what you aim to get done with your website. We explore the shape of your content, functionality, team structures, and systems. This is where we plan out and begin researching user experience needs. The results of discovery go into a scope of work – the strategy which we agree with your team.
Building on project discovery, our designers begin creating the look and feel, the user journeys, and page layouts that will work on any device. We can work to existing branding, expand on it, or create brand new styles. For the look and feel, we create moodboards and style examples. To test layout ideas and information architecture, we create wireframes, then prototypes that bring styles with layouts together. Throughout the design processes, we work closely with your teams, and aim to reduce surprises.
We test throughout both design and development, but towards go-live our testing team puts everything through rigorous checks. They’ll make sure everything works as planned, using our device lab to test against a wide range of devices and screen sizes. This is also where we get your team to test and accept the newly-built website (this is called UAT or user-acceptance testing). If you’re hosting with us, we move everything into its new home for you. Or, we work with your hosting team to help you get your servers configured and ready for launch. Finally, we press the big, red button – and celebrate.
"I'm very happy about how we work together with the Zengenti team as one team. We have managed to provide our users with an up-to-date service that enables us to respond in a very fast way to their needs, and even to anticipate their needs, which are changing all the time."
